Hi, I just built my friend a new system with a spare 3200 I had. The computer is fine, that is untill he trys to run a game, they become choppy, the image flickers a lot. I know some of you will say its the video card but I wanted to point something out. I had this CPU whith an Asus A8V mobo and it was having the same exact issues. Everything has changed in his new system except the CPU. Any suggestions as to what might be the problem? This is his system.

ASPIRE X-Pider Case 420W Power Supply
ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe
eVGA Geforce 6800GT 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI-Express x16 Video Card
CORSAIR XMS 1GB-Model TWINX1024-3200
HITACHI Deskstar 7K250 HDS722525VLSA80 250GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache
AMD 64 3200+ Winchester Core

Did you overclock it before? What is the amps on the rails for that 420W PSU? What are the temps on the cpu and video card?
Do you have one ram module or two installed? 939 is dual channel and having one mem installed only may cause some issues, but I doubt that is the cause.

Well it seems that it was one game that was making it screw up. All other games so far have passed with no problems. Thanks for your help tho.
