Hi, I'm new at this forum and overclocking. I am think about buying the amd 64 3200, but different people said different things about NC and CH. I just want to know when OC NC and CH, can the frequency of NC be much higher than the CH or are they the same. For example, if CH can go to 2.4ghz, can NC reach say 2.6ghz or above. can anyone verify that? also can anyone tell me when using only air to OC both core, how much can you actualy overclock. did anyone reach 2.6 or 2.7for NC or 2.5 for CH??? thank you for your help

I think percentage wise both CH and NC woud overclock about the same. But the NC have a 200mhz head start.. its a tough decition. But I myself would lean more toward CH

The Newcastle is a upgraded form of the Clawhammer in some respects personaly the 1mb of cache on chip with the Clawhammer sounds rather tempting to me :)

NC clocks better (I am told) but the CH has more cache. I have had great results from my CH
