Okay, just built a new box. Fiirst MSI Neo FSR DOA. RMA'd. New board OK. Cleaned AMD 64 300+ processor and retail heatsink with pure isopropyl. Used bead of Arctic Silver 5 NOT Ceramique. Was not happy with my temp, 46C at idle. Took off the heat sink and lo and behold the processor riipped out of the socket and is firmly glued to the heatsink. What is going on? Any way to remove the processor?
