AMD 64 3000+ only low voltage chip?

I am reexaming what configuration I would like for a notebook, and it seems there really is a small difference in performance between the AMD 64 3000+ through the AMD 64 3200+. I have been told in the forums that the 3000+ is a low voltage chip, and that the cache reduction made little difference. I reexamined the benchmarks and chip specifications and that does seem to be the case, but there is little info on wattage that I have been able to find - even on AMD.com. This will not be for a game system, so it does not need to be best chip available. And if the battery life is significant extended - this might be the best AMD 64 chip for notebooks for money.
