I am looking for building a system with either

1. AMD 64 3000+ and NF 430 (ASUS Board On Borad 6150)

or

2. Pentium D 805 with Intel 945G series board.

Can some one please give me his inputs on which is better choice.

After looking at Tom Hardware CPU chart P D 805 outperform AMD 64 3200+ in most of the applications.

Please give your valuable advice.

Thanx

What are you going to use the system for? For multitasking purpose the Pentium D is a cheap alternative, but it does heat up too much and takes in alot of power as well, while the A64 consumes lesser and doesn't heat up too much.
