I'm in a corner and dont know which way to go,

On the one hand I understand the Intel E6400 is great for overclocking and is a good all round performer and matched with a P5N32 SLi 680i mobo would work well together (I have a 8800GTS intend to use SLi sooner rather than later on).

On the other hand my mate believes that the AMD 64x2 5200 is a better cpu matched with a m2-crosshair nforce 590 is a perferred matchup between the two.

So my question is what are everyones thought of these two???

I know the 680i had its share of problems through bios etc.. but i believe those are straightened out

thanks in advance

Intel and 965P and toss SLI

But if you insist, Intel. Especially if you OC. I don't care what model AMD cpu you are thinking of getting, a well OC'd core 2 duo is going to crush an OC'd AMD.
