I have this in a rackmount case with the following cooler:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16835114039

It's mounted with Arctic Silver 5.
The mobo is an ASUS M3A78-CM.
There is great air flow through the case. (it's currently not even in the rack, so the top vents are not covered or obstructed either)

I'm seeing temps hit 71 once or twice running stress on a debian install. It takes about 10 minutes for it to get just screaming hot.

As soon as I kill stress gkrellm shows the temps go from the 70*+ almost straight down to 30*

Do I have a lot to worry about hitting those temps? I have 0 OC on it and just want a cheap mail server out of commodity parts.

Odds are it will not EVER reach that kind of load in it's role, but I don't want to run a chance of over heating it in case of a zombie process or the like..

Well I was running my 5800 fine at 65C load but 70 may be pushing it.

Also, I believe that cooler is for 65w AMD Processors while the 5800 is a 89w.
