AMD 5600+ MOBO help

OK, I am not new here but it has been a while and I forgot my username so...new account.

Anyway, I am upgrading from a:
A64 3200+
1gb ram
Nvidia 6800GTS

To a:
A64 X2 5600+
8800GT(I found a place to get one lol)
2 GB 6400 ram

Now, I will NOT be overclocking or at least not much so since there are so many motherboards, it is hard to find a review on a good one from someone who doesn't overclock. So any recomendations would be appreciated. Oh and I don't need SLI.

I think your requirements, or lack thereof, makes for a more easy choice. It is tough to choose when you are looking for a really good overclocker, however pretty much all boards do just fine at stock speeds. Just look for a board with what you would probably want in features. No SLI simplifies things again. Do you want HD audio (probably yes)? Do you want gigabit ethernet or is 10/100 fine? Do you want Firewire onboard? Do you not like a noisy computer (get one that doesn't need chipset fans)?

Should I be worried about getting a MOBO with an onboard graphic chipset? Will that affect performance? Thanks

I would download the board manuals and check the bios settings and ram recommendations. Either one will work fine. Asus and gigabyte merged into one company awhile back.

I wanted the same thing with my 5600 and ended up with this ASUS board which some may consider a bit pricy for a straight up AM2 board. I went with this over a Gigabyte due to the abundance of fan headers. I'm not a fan nut but it has tons and the Gigabyte had only a few. I wanted at least three. I've had it for about 4 months now and the board has been stone solid from day one. I can't find any reason to knock it but some users complain that it doesn't offer higher RAM voltage. Since I knew I wouldn't get much of an overclock with my 5600 it wasn't a big issue with me, but I easily turned it up to 3 gigs with no trouble.

For RAM I used this matched pair of G-Skill memory and haven't had any problems at all.

I also bought a Freezer Pro 64 and have a solid yet quiet system that idles in the low 20's C with a top load temp of about 36C.
