AMD 5000 series: three monitors under Windows XP?

Hi, all

I tried to find out whether an AMD 5000 series card like the HD5450 or HD5570 can drive three monitors using extended desktop in Windows XP with independent resolutions and orientation (landscape or portrait), not as an Eyefinity group. There seems to be conflicting views online, like these two:

Doable.

Has any fellow forum members using Windows XP and a 5000 series card succeeded in running three monitors via extended desktop?

You should be fine. Just keep in mind you will need a displayport adapter for one of the monitors.
