Newegg is selling a few different 45WMOBILEATHLON's starting with the XP1700+. Does anyone know exactly what they are? What voltage do they use? Are they "B"'s? Is this a repost?

I think they are for laptops too. They are now being sold to the general public. I have a Soyo KT333 board on the way and Soyo has a BIOS flash for "Low Power" XP processors. Do you think this is what Soyo is referring to?

There is next to nothing written about them. My biggest question is whether they are garanteed to B cores. I think they are but don't know positively.

If I were only in the states I'd buy one... I've got a line on some XP1900+ B cores right now and I wanna get one. I know at least some are 1.45V models.

There are a LOT of other mobile processors there, and there were none not long ago... there may be some kickass overclockers buried in there. I just wish I had a US P.O box or something...

I think the most promising ones are:

AMD 45WMOBILEAthlon XP 2000+, 1.67GHz /266MHz BUS 256K,AXMH2000FQQ3C

Pic is of an AIUHB 0325! $78

AMD 45WMOBILEAthlon XP 2200+, 1.8GHz /266MHz BUS 256K,AXMH2200FQQ3C

Pic is of an AIUHB 0313. $88

The others have weird IQXEA steppings or have pics of old old Tbred A's.

I know that the pic doesn't guarantee that is what it is, but with a low volume, relatively new product, I bet you'll get what you see if you order soon.

The question is, can either of those out do a Barton 2500+? I have a suspicion that the XP2000+ could... Anyone wanna send me one? :D
