AMD 4000+ running below stock speed?

I recently put together a new rig, i picked the AMD 4000+ San Diego for my cpu and the abit fata1ty as my mobo... when i went into my bios it said my cpu was running at 2.2ghz which is below stock speed... im guessing this is just some default that mobos use, but i was wondering what i should set my voltage to so that i can run it stock at 2.4ghz?

Your motherboard should be reading 2.4 GHz not 2.2 GHz. Check to make sure the multipler is at 12x and the FSB is set to 200 MHz. If those are all sitting good, maybe a BIOS update can fix the issue.
