Hi.
I got MSI neo platinum 2, 3500+ Newcastle with stock heatsink, and Kingston 3200 TCCD (2-2-2-5).
I'm currently setting this new baby to,
9*290=2610 with 1.664 voltage. HTT is set to 3x
Memory timing is 1T-3-4-4-8 with 1:1 ratio.
Is this a good overclocking? Any suggestions to improve this setting would be greatly appreciated.
I'm using speedfan for monitoring the temp. When loaded it is below 55C.
Thanks.

I would look into getting a beefier HSF... load temp's kinda high with the stock HSF. Personally I don't like to pop 50º C. I might also play around with higher multipliers and lower FSB and see if I could get better RAM timings. Low latency is your friend and mass bandwidth isn't a big deal with an A64, at least that's what I've gathered from reading posts here over the last while. I haven't built my A64 rig yet, I'm waiting for things to settle down a bit.

Just update.

I now changed the ram timings to 1T 2.5-3-3-6 and 11*241. What would be the tigher ram timing I can get?
Like 2.5-2-2-6 or something? I can also increase FSB here to get higher clock speed, right?
Thanks.
