AMD 3500 Athlon 64 939 Price Going Up?

I just heard from Monarch Computers that AMD is considering raising the price on the AMD Athlon 64 3500 939 socket CPU by $20 to $40 because of the supply and demand for it. Wondering if anyone can confirm that. Most everyone is out of stock or charging $400 and way up already. It is the last piece I need for my new system. I guess I will just preorder it and cancel if I can get it from someone else for the same price sooner.
