AMD 333fsb Barton CPU w/ GA-7VRXP v1.1 opinion

I'm thinking about buying a new cpu for my motherboard Gigabyte GA-7VRXP rev.1.1. I want to buy the Barton with the 333fsb but I'm afraid it won't work with my motherboard. Gigabyte website indicated that the 333fsb is not supported. My question is since the fsb in the bios can jackup upto 180fsb, will the Barton work ok eventhough GigaByte said NO? Maybe someone already have it worked on theirs?
