i was about to paste you asus link before i checked yours;)

this is the mobo i use its rev 1.0 not 2.0(ddr400 support)
its good mobo i;'d say except that price on that url is $130 and am quite sure u can get it below $100 if you hop around(maybe not deluxe version)

The $130 price for the Asus A7N8X Deluxe is about normal. Newegg has it for around the same price ($129) but with free shipping so make sure you factor shipping in the cost. And yes, this is just about the best board you can get for the latest AMD CPU's. Version 2.0 officially supports a 400mhz FSB so you have room for future upgrades.

Actually, I'd be more inclined to say that the Epox 8RDA+ is the supreme AMD board among overclockers and enthusiasts. I know you didn't mention overclocking, but if you'd like to get that 3000+ to actually outperform a 3.0GHz P4, then overclocking is the only route.

This was going to be my motherboard after selling my a7n8x non-dlx, but I went ahead and sold my processor, too, for the new C stepping P4 and mobo.
