AMD 220-G - Getting up to @2933MHz Successfully - Going dual-channel?

So far, I've been able to get my new AMD 2200G up and running on Windows 10 with a single 1x8GB 3000MHz rated memory stick in single-channel mode @ 2800MHz. And it's stable. I tried booting up to Windows 10 @ 2933MHz via BIOS setting and I got the Windows smiley face screen apologizing for the issue.

I'm going to double this system up to 16GB (2x8GB) in dual-channel mode here very soon now. I'm just curious, in advance to know, what effects this will have on my system memory speed and my likelihood of getting these twins up and running @2933MHz?

Will going into dual-channel mode have any effects whatsoever on the potential to run faster? Positive, negative, or an irrelevant change?

Going dual-channel even at 2666Mhz will give way better performance then single channel @2933mhz. So yes this will be faster.
