AMD 1600+ retail fan

I am going to purchase an AMD retail 1600+ cpu. Is the FAN and heatsink on this unit good enough for the long term? I am not an overclocker I just want a stable and long lasting CPU. How does this retail fan compare to the volcano 5?

The retail HSF isn't that great, but I'd venture to say it should work if your not oc'n AND you've got good case-flow. As always, monitor your temps.

And sry, can't help ya out w/ the volcano...know nothing about it. I'd guess that the coolermaster that comes w/ the cpu would be better than that thermaltake

Of course, otherwise AMD won't give you 3 years warranty on retail cpu only.
