Two quick questions...
1. Now that I ordered my 9700 Pro, I was just curious how big a performance increase I'd see going from my current AMD Athlon 1.4 Tbird to a 2.0 (2400+) CPU?
2. I seem to remember hearing that the XP chips ran cooler than the 1.4 Tbird's, does that mean my current fan (from a retail 1.4 Tbird) would work with an OEM 2400+?
System specs:
- Enlight 340 Watt case
- ECS k7s5a mobo
- Athlon 1.4 Tbird
- WinXP pro
- 512 Crucial PC2100
- Ati 9700 PRO Retail (upgrading from a Geforce 2 GTS 32MB)
