AMD 1.2 GHz CPU - How do you determine FSB speed?

Just got my 1.2 GHz CPU after a fairly lengthy wait, but I have a feeling that I may have been sent a 200 MHz FSB version rather than a 266. Is there any way to tell? The markings on the chip are as follows:

Center chip:

A1200AMS3B
BVHA 0101MPMW
F327084 0125

Bottom left of CPU:

27016

I don't really wanna put it in the mb if it's not what I asked for. Please advise! =)

Thanks!

you have a 200 FSB.. the 266 ends with the letter "c" instead of the a1200ams3"b". If your willing to wait, you can get a 266 sometime in the next 2-3 weeks. However, i spoke with an authorized resseler today and he told me AMD was pushing them back to 2nd quarter. In light of this i opted for the unlocked 200 FSB.. i can now overclock (according to what i have been reading here) the FSB to the desired 266 or more!.. why wait?!

Ah well I suspected as much. Thanks for the response. I'll assume you're an authority on such things since you're the only one that responded and take your reply as gospel. =)

i wouldn't go as far as saying i'm an "authority" but i've researched that in depth.. the information i gave you comes from many reputable online sources (anandtech being one of them).. so the info is 100% correct..

happy to help out

Isn't setting the 200Mhz bus version to 9x133....is that overclocking? I will be using the Asus A7V133 soon.....I don't want to overclock 1%. I just want 266Mhz bus. So if I set it to 9x133, that's not OCing is it?

Actually that's underclocking...12x100=1200 vs 9x133=1197.
Seriously, this is not OC'ng.
