AMC thread

I was just recently informed of the Nissan fan club on ATOT, so I thought AMC at least deserved a thread. Post comments, and pics good or bad and the true american automobile.

I had a 77 Hornet Wagon that I used as a daily driver till the torque converter cracked, it got parked for 6 months. My sister bought it, got the TC replaced and is still driving it.
Its a bit on the rusty side, but the floors and motor are solid, could probably go another 50-60k miles with no problems 😀

AMC trivia: The man with the golden gun used amcs in all the chase scenes. Hornet matador, and ambassadors. The hornet does a barrel roll over a bridge!

They also used one in another Bond film that turned into a airplane. 🙂

Besides the Javelin, I also owned a Hornet X runabout. One of two I ever saw with a V8.

I also owned a 62 Rambler Classic S/W. And learned how to drive a stick on a 62 Rambler American S/W that my Dad owned.

Still have an '82 eagle sx/4 with a 151cid 4-banger. Hasn't been started in four or five years though so...I'm considering scrapping it. *Ahem* Would anyone like to buy a 2-door, 4-wheel-drive car with a teensy motor and no AC?
