Is there an app out there that can adjust the volume of my cellphone based on the ambient noise around me? Similar to the ambient light sensor that automatically adjusts the screen brightness.
Like when I am walking outside and there is lots of car traffic and my cell phone is deep in my jacket pocket, then I would want any notification or phone call to be at max volume so that I don't miss it.
But then when sitting at home where it's quiet, or in a meeting where there is very little noise, I would like it to be at like 25% volume as to not be suddenly blarringly loud or cause a scene.
There is simply no way that I am going to remember to adjust it for every time my surroundings change throughout the day.
If there is no such app then there should be. If I could program I would certainly make one as it seems like it would be pretty simple.
