Amazon's "Search Inside the Book" feature == easy research!

Does anyone else love having Amazon's Search Inside the Book feature? There are page-per-book limitations (I think it's three pages forward and backward for each book from one search hit), but for broad topics (such as my paper on American third parties), it's great! This is the kind of thing that I can't even do in the library. Not only can I see 15 different books on similar topics, but I can instantly see at which point in the books my topic is discussed.

I'm surprised that there aren't more limits on this feature, but as long as Amazon has it up for grabs, I've got no objections. Combined with the U of M's unlimited access (even remote access, for students off-campus) to Lexis-Nexis and ProQuest, I'm a research MACHINE! :)

yeah, i think it's real cool. i've never used it for research, however, it's amazing to me how it can be done.

I don't think amazon's ever going to make a profit. everytime they might barely begin to, they just spend a lot more money to again prevent any possibilty of profit
