Oh man, that is really tempting to get a RoG laptop. The one I'm looking at would even be $300 off! Still a lot of money for something I would use sparingly.

This kinda worried me though:

Processor, Memory, and Motherboard

  • Processor: 2 hertz Intel Core i7
  • Memory Slots: 4

I have been looking to get a laptop for a long time now so this discount pretty much sealed the deal for me. Same laptop I have been looking at for a month but now it's $115 cheaper, kind of hard to pass up lol.

I pulled the trigger on a similar deal except the Toshiba L755D with the AMD A6 3400M quad core. I gave away my 5 year old dual core so I wanted to feel like this was an upgrade even though this is just a knockaround laptop for me. Just got it in today and seems decent, nice screen, loaded with Toshiba bloat but that's expected. Also got $50 in Amazon MP3 credits ($25 laptop + $25 printer). Total came to $350 and some change. I've got $210 in discover rewards I'm going to cash out bringing this down to $140.xx for me. I'll also get reward points on the $350 for a future purchase.

tempted to buy a Asus transformer too. Thanks.

... update bot the transformer. but cannot get the 20% for the 16gb model. ended up getting the 32gb one. 459.44-20%=367.55. How did you get 314??? Anyway.... too late to back out now.
