That is exactly what they don't want, a single distribution point like what happened to the music industry. For media companies Apple and the music industry is a tale of woe of what not to do, and what happens if you outsource your future.

I understand this is all quite deliberate. But with the blurring of the lines between TV and Internet, it has become too complicated. The average customer wants simplicity and quite justifiably can't be bothered to figure out all the different variables.

I would think they are losing many customers who they would otherwise have if they could simplify things a bit. A lot more people would pay.
 
Might be time to finally watch that Sopranos show everyone keeps talking about. First I still gotta get through 24.

I never did watch the 2nd season of Flight of the Concords. I loved the first one but I heard the second one was not nearly as good.
