Amazon upping cost of Prime

I do a fair amount of shopping at Whole Foods which has now instituted some wonky extra discounts for Prime members - probably saved at least $10 thus far in items I would have bought anyway so I'll justify the extra cost that way. Plus, the thought of ordering something and it showing up more than 2 days later is unacceptable.

I adore Prime! Granted, I don’t order luxury things but cases of toilet paper, paper towels, cases of wet cat food & big containers of cat treats, 22 pound bags of cat food & 40 pound boxes of litter? Yes please to getting those things delivered to my door! I also love Amazon Music
