Seems like nice idea, but what is it 15% off? My main concern would be the actual savings, if any, in the long run...

Didn't see bulk beef on the list of items, but plenty of bulk other stuff.

I thought amazon has had that going on for a while now. I have a subscription for Pampers size 3. Wish I got subscriptions for sizes 4 & 5 as well, but that's no longer an option.

My buddy is a big Sam's Club user and compared some items and said they prices were a fair bit higher on Amazon...it looks like this is more of a convenience thing than anything. Plus if you don't have a wholesale store in your area or a small car it might be a good service to use. I'll compare the prices next time I shop, but it seems like a pretty decent service!

Is 10 pounds of toilet paper bulk?

Kind of annoying to shop. I'd like to be able to put everything I want in my cart, then checkout and specify delivery schedules for each item and see monthly/annual totals then provide my payment method and delivery address. As it is, it wants me to select an item, log in, specify my delivery schedule, specify delivery address & payment...for each item. Unless I'm totally missing something, it's really stupid.

diapers were about a nickel more a piece, when compared to costco's prices.

Well, it's a user issue...if they force the average joe to make a schedule upon choosing an item, then they won't forget to do it when they checkout (less headaches for Amazon later). Not the most user friendly it sounds like, though. Luckily you only have to do it once, right?

huh? It's no more headaches for Amazon than a regular checkout. If the customer doesn't set a schedule, they don't get the product. I'm talking about a totally separate checkout process from their current cart system. Add subscription products to a cart, then upon checkout, select your delivery schedule for each item in your cart, then select your delivery address and pay. If you don't set a schedule, you can't proceed to the next checkout step.

The point is, I won't do it once -- I won't do it ever, it's a serious pain in the ass and difficult to track your expenses this way.

I have this set up for the cleaning fluid for my electric razor. I got a great price for it this way. Also, you can cancel a shipment if you don't need it yet, so there's no real commitment.

I'm going to guess you mean the Braun shaving fluid? How much is it this way?

*edit* ahh I just checked 12.74 for a pack of three.

I just don't see this as being too useful for me because I just buy things when I'm out. I don't keep monthly totals on how much toilet paper I use or when I will run out so scheduling this stuff wouldn't seem to work.

A side note, since it just popped up when I was looking through things.

"Seventh Generation" brand toilet paper just gives me some bad thoughts...
