Amazon shipping estimates

Are these typically accurate? Or do you usually find you get your package earlier than projected? Is their Free Super Saver Shipping through UPS or FedEx? And finally, do you often see things that say "usually ships in 24 hours" NOT be shipped out by the next day after you ordered it?
 
I find them to be fairly accurate, only a handful of times my package arrived earlier than projected, never late though...

 
Aside from this one order that somehow got delayed a week, they're usually a bit early for me.

Because of trouble I had last year, I did a smaller portion of my Christmas buying on Amazon. Even then 2 of 5 shipments were late. No more for me.
 
My most recent order shipped and arrived the very next day with super saver shipping. Probably helped that it shipped from a warehouse less than 50 miles away though.

Well it did say the shipping date would be the 16th (I ordered it yesterday). However it says NOWHERE that by choosing super saver shipping you are giving up it shipping out in 24 hours. That really pisses me off.

Now, it says estimated delivery is the 18th to the 20th (next Wed. to Fri.). I leave for school that Sunday, the 22nd. Should I worry about it not arriving by then? That would really suck if it didn't.
 
Actually, if you click Learn More, it does say that choosing super saver shipping will cause it to take an additional 3-5 days to ship. So when it says 5-9 business days next to that option, does that mean 5-9 AFTER that 3-5? Or 5-9 total? Now I'm worried! Do they deliver on Saturdays?
 
Any more input? Maybe I should call and say I'm leaving town and see if it can be sent out by Friday instead of Monday like it projects?
