So I ordered a book from a seller on Feb. 4 and it still hasn't arrive yet. Amazon won't let me file a claim until a month after the purchase, wtf?

I need this book. Should I just order it again from someone? But, if this seller pulls through, I'm screwed.

That's a good idea. :Q

The reason you have to wait a month is because if you don't pay for expedited shipping they can use media mail, which can take 3 weeks to get to you.

I contacted the seller a week ago and said she shipped it a few days before. Week later, got nothing yet. She didn't give me a tracking number. Isn't responding to my current emails.

Did you choose Expedited Shipping? If not, it was shipped media mail and may take up to a month to arrive.

I've sold stuff on Amazon.com through their marketplace and have had this happen before. Now, even if they choose basic shipping, I still ship Priority with DC to cover my ass.
