I'm in college and change my address pretty frequently. Can you change your address with Amazon Prime or am I stuck with one address permanently? If you can change it, how often are you able to?

You can change it for every package you order and in an order with multiple items, you can even ship each item to a different destination.

It lets me ship to any address that I have associated with my account... I don't think I had to specify which one was my "Prime" address. So just add both addresses to your account.

this. change you address whenever you need to. im too lazy to check if you can add different addresses to an account and select where to ship stuff.

prime is, however, awesome, if you like amazon.

Ahh, I read "Members are not limited to shipping eligible purchases exclusively to their home billing address." as "Members are limited to shipping eligible purchases exclusively to their home billing address."

So theoretically, it would be really easy to add five or addresses to your account where those other four addresses are your buddies? I don't plan on doing this, but it seems like they would look for this type of stuff and make it hard for college students.

You can add "family" members to your prime account and they can order from their amazon accounts.

My parents have a prime account in Oregon, and I have them ship me stuff to Washington all the time, so you should be fine.

Yes, a lot of [edit: unethical people who don't mind ripping off Amazon.com] do that.

amazon allows people to add others to the account with different shipping addresses, right? its not a loophole, they specifically allow it. totally different accounts.

allowing more people to order with bargain priced shipping must get them enough business that they dont presently care to change the policy. the prime invitation lists for relatives, sure, but i dont think anyone at amazon cares where the relatives are (indeed im sure they understand relatives can be anywhere) as long as they *buy things* and someone keeps the prime account going.

Yes, Amazon allows you to add members of your household to your prime account, and there is nothing wrong with doing that. For anyone else, see my previous post.
