Wife and I originally signed up for Amazon Prime for the shipping benefits. Later, I installed the Amazon Prime Video app onto an Xbox One Elite console. I enjoyed it enough to do the same to an Xbox One S and finally bought a FireTV stick.
The FireTV stick and Xbox One S are the ones used the most with Amazon Prime video. We have never attempted to use Prime video with any other kind of device, like PC/iMac, cell phone, tablet, etc. Recently, though, the Xbox One S seems to have a problem with holding the login credentials for the Prime video app so I went looking on Amazon.
In the Amazon Prime Video settings section I noticed that under registered devices there were devices I never registered. Both our iPhones and iPads are somehow registered. I think I may have downloaded the app to one iDevice, but I never attempted to use it. But beyond this I was shocked not to find any Xbox registered.
If the last time I used Amazon Prime Video was on the Xbox I do not have a problem thereafter. But if I used the FireTV stick and then try to use the Xbox it is there that I have the problem. Ideas?
