I can't recall if I bought anything on Prime day last year, but more than likely i'll succumb to the hype and make some stupid purchases.

"Amazon's day of deals will actually run for 30 hours this year. It will kick off at 9 pm ET on July 10 and run until 3 am ET on July 12. Throughout Prime Day's run, new deals will be offered every five minutes, the company says."

"Pre-Prime Day sales - Amazon will roll out new deals every day leading up to Prime Day as well, beginning Thursday at 1 a.m. ET."

Yeah definitely not paying attention to this. The past ones have been awful.

When you advertise some big ass sale it just completely ruins it. It's like how black friday used to be an "underground" type of thing, and now it's a spectacle and completely useless.

ROFL, that video is classic. The first Prime Day got me excited but it ended up being quite shit. Last years' I don't think I paid too much attention to although I did browse some deals of course.

This year I'll probably give it a look but am not expecting much based on its history. But really... there's nothing I really want to buy anyway; it's not like I'm looking for a bunch of things to go on sale (my computer's fine, my TV's new and fine, etc). Although... I am casually looking for a new vacuum, that's powerful and can suck up all the goddamn cat hair in my apartment. My current vacuum is about 10 years old and is just a regular Dirt Devil vacuum.
