Amazon price match policy

Price matching against its own price, not even marketplace or 3rd party listed on Amazon, just their own price. Does Amazon do that? I read their price matching policy and it doesn't appear that they do.

Against their own price. Ok, let's see if i got this. Hypothetical situation. They have a desk you want for $200.00. Will they match there own price and give it to you for $200.00, or...wait...$200.00...WTF, what the hell is the point of price matching their own price?

Yes, they do. Officially I believe it's 30 days, but they've been VERY lenient for me in the past (once going to nearly double that IIRC).

It can't hurt to ask, the worst they can do is say no.

yes. as long as it's within a reasonable range of time

i did this numerous times, both within the return period. just email their customer service. amazon has pretty good service IMO

Yea. If their price drops within 30 days, they will refund the difference, if you ask.

You probably didn't even bother searching their site for the answer since they CLEARLY state it in their help/faq section.

If Amazon lowers the price within 30 days after a purchase they will reimburse you the difference. I usually have better luck with the customer service line than e-mail support.
