Ok, so they had a sale, you didn't buy the stuff that was on sale, the sale ended and the prices increased, and this is somehow their fault.

Fascinating.

Newegg prices go up and down also, but I don't think they have the 30 day price guarantee.

Also people should note that this is (generally) a good thing.

Amazon has persistent shopping carts and will notify you when a price goes up on an item, no matter what the time difference is between when you placed the item in your cart and today. Extends to marketplace sellers too, I had a book I placed in my cart, didn't log in for like a month, and got the notice that it increased $2 when I logged back in.

Bottom line is I think the OP's link was a staged pic.

I order stuff through Amazon all the time, number of problems to date=0. I don't wish list stuff, or put off the purchase any longer than it takes to scour the web for a better deal after shipping though, either.

They were sale prices. They lowered the prices because they had so much HDDVD inventory. It must of worked, because they raised them again. Clearly you thought they were going to go lower, so you waited, and you lost. Get over it.

But really, please do explain what your problem with Amazon is. Because none of us see a problem.

Oh ffs, they were not sale prices.

I put 30 HD DVD's in my cart the day I bought 'Fletch' and 'Streets of Fire' on the day 'Fletch' was released. March I think... Every two weeks after that I'd buy two more with the free shipping. Those movies were the same damn price until yesterday.

Yeah, I'm just pissed the supply is dwindling and they're raising prices on a dead format. WTF ever...

If this thread were in Off Topic, you'd be getting a lot of 0/10 scores for this rant.

Again, this is Amazon's fault HOW?!!!

Seriously, you've got $3k-$4k of equipment in your signature. Grow a pair and buy a Blu-ray player.

Because they had it cheap and people actually bought it before him!

execute them, with acid!

PS. one of the items on the list actually went down in price...
PPS. If amazon does a pricematch with itself 30 days after purchase, there is no reason to EVER wait to purchase.
