Amazon phone customer service - 30 second hold time?!?

During this crazy X-mas shopping season? Kudos, mad kudos Amazon.. An item I ordered on December 11th (PRIME) hasn't shipped yet, and I needed to receive it for a Christmas party on Sunday. They upgraded me to overnight shipping and took care of my concerns quickly and without keeping me on hold forever.

Round 2: Didn't receive earrings mailed out Dec. 3rd. UPS has it as DELIVERED - PORCH. But, alas, no porch and no earrings. I called AMAZON on a whim based on the outstanding service I received yesterday (I otherwise would have gone through UPS and filed a complaint/claim) - they apologized for the inconvenience and shipped out replacements, again with overnight shipping for free.

I ordered a wallet with a 20 dollar off coupon. spent 10. never shipped for a week, asked for refund, which took 2 months. yea it was annoying, but I got over 100 dollars in "promotional discounts" got some nice small things out of it.
