Nice game. Definitely worth those 5 bucks. 1st person shooter on rails (you must follow given pathways) but the story is immersive and the ambience realistic. Just be sure to save ammo and filters or you will have a hard time at the end.

Just bought this on Amazon a few days ago.. $5 + NY TAX. : (

But hey.. At least I could register it on Steam. I'm gonna take comfort in the fact that I now have two web services where I can download this.

At 5 bucks its a must have. One of my favorite FPS alongside Stalker:SoC. There are a bit of control problems (latency, unreponsiveness, inacurracy, etc) but the creepy atmosphere and gorgeous graphics made up for it.

Just know that you can pretty much always find them at 5 bucks. Whether at Amazon, Steam or Gamersgate they are constantly discounted to 5 bucks.

The game has great atmosphere. I didn't care for the gameplay at all, it's a rails shooter, with a bunch of interface problems. I wanted another Stalker, and this wasn't it. Still, at $5, you really can't go wrong on it, and lots of people loved it/could overlook its flaws.

I did the same i wanted to try out my new 670, and it was dead on steam. But Amazon has it for 5 bucks, played it a bit at max reso at 2560x1440, wow looks and runs great.
