Amazon Kindle to open up to library lending

Still doesn't mean that the publishers won't jack around with things like HarperCollins did. They only allow 26 checkouts before the library needs to buy a new copy.
 
Hmm, the article is a bit vague. Does this mean that Kindle will add support for the epub format?
 
It's going to be pretty limited though. Amazon says that the time limit will vary by library, but typically will be 7-14 days. I bet the list of books available for lending will be severely limited as well.
