i looked on ebay yesterday for tomb raider/bioshock infnite codes and saw one for 49.99 buy it now and one that was like high $30s. I put a bid in for $50 since it was ending soon and it got sniped at the last minute.

meanwhile the 49.99 bin copy sold. cheapest i found today was $57.99 BIN, still a good deal for 2 brand new games. so i bought it. like 5 minutes later I get an email that says the one for $49.99 BIN was relisted. FFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!

Patience. ~$50 BINs pop up somewhat regularly, you just have to keep waiting and checking.

But hey, you still got a good deal on two games that aren't even out yet. Don't feel too bad.

Meanwhile, the guy I bought from has yet to send the promo code to me. :\ It's been nearly two days now, and I've already paid and everything. 100% positive rep with 100 transactions so I don't think he's fishy, just taking his time I guess. If he still doesn't send me it tomorrow I'll probably get in touch.

well i feel like a retard. i'm back to my main rig for a little, and i go to play dark souls, but i left my controller 3000 miles across the country, thinking keyboard and mouse would suffice. nope.

If you put in a US street address, you can still buy it. Lots of people have done this and it works just fine. Amazon doesn't seem to be enforcing the rule. They only care as long as they get your money.

They don't require a constant internet connection for their games anymore, assuming that's what you're talking about.



Why is Origin terrible? It's pretty much like Steam, except faster and more lightweight.

you drank the koolaid? Steam is not run by people who shit on there own games (EA and comments about SWOnline before it came out, google it if you actually care). Ea buys great companies and kills them (bullfrog, Orgin (yes it was succesfull game company till EA got it, not a download service),Westwood, and many others.. all non stop success, , loved by many then bought by EA.. one good game (maybe) and then crap..

If this happened once, or twice i would put it bad luck, but EA consistently runs great game companies into the ground.
