What was hilarious was the other day over at FatWallet was a guy asking about a Flatpanel TV at a low price. Then he came back with an edit bitching because someone had already bought it lol

that would be my guess too. about two weeks ago, i posted about an sd400 on amazon.com offered for $200. i placed the order, but the seller cancelled my payment to them. then i sent them an email asking why he cancelled and he said something about not being able to accept international payments? he told me to give him my mailing address and he would send me a payment request thingie from western union. i was like funk that and ignored him. later, just for sh!ts and giggles, i went back to amazon to check out pricing on the sd400, and i found another guy selling for $200. in the descriptions, he said not to check out via amazon, and to email him for payment instructions. i emailed him and got pretty much the same payment instructions as i did from the first guy. sounds like a scam to me. the only reason i tried to buy from the first guy was becuz of the amazon buyer protection. but when he cancelled my payment and wanted me to send money via western union... seems like "buyer protection" got chucked right out the window.
