Short and OK is the best way to describe it. It's pretty fun but too easy. Definitely could run through it as a rental.

I will get Dead Rising 2 if the price is right. Apparently this "off the record" re-release fixes what I didn't like about the other DR games... adds a true timeless sandbox mode that lets your xp and such carry over into the main game.

I'm starting to think Dead Rising 2: Off The Record might not be the last deal. I mean Amazon doesn't even offer it for sale from them or via download. At best it would be vanilla Dead Rising 2 as they sell that on PC, but that's not really worth waiting for :\

Max Payne is about 90% Metacritic, sounds like it's worth supporting if you like that type of game and will play it. I'll stick to my Steam backlog for now.
