That's literally stealing at that price. My favorite portable mouse...works on ANYTHING. Might grab another as a backup at that price.

Yep, my favorite as well.

I bought mine refurb about 3 years ago and it's still going strong.

Thirded. I buy these for all my users at work for travel.

Also shout out to the washable K310 keyboard, it's the bomb for a kitchen computer/kid's PC/dirty environments etc.!

Also the Z906 for $249 is a pretty good deal if you're looking for a great 5.1 system! I have had both prior versions (Z-680 & Z-5500) with great results

Thank you for this! I'd been wondering about the G13 and at this price decided to give it a shot. :)

Yeah, but my neighbors HATE my z5500's, so Im stuck using headphones most of the time anyway.
Thinking of trying that G700s gaming mouse
I thought about that too, but the fact that it uses only one battery and loses its profiles when it dies, kinda turns me off a bit, I'd probably end up having it plugged in more often than not anyway.

I really want a g400s to replace my aging MX518, but it isn't on this list.
Its reasonably priced anyway so no big deal.
The G400s is probably what I will eventually go with, either that or a Roccat Kone XTD if I can talk myself into spending that much.
Given Logitech's alleged drop in quality lately using cheap switches that end up having double click issues, which my Razer Copperhead had also and drove me nuts enough to never try Razer again,
I may opt to spend a bit more this time and give the Roccat a try.

What do you mean lately? Last time I used MX518s was about 8-10 years ago. Back then they were complete garbage. They wouldn't last me more than a year before I started having issues with the mouse key clicks not registering 100% of the time.

The only reason why I will stick with Logitech is because they have awesome customer service. I bought one MX518 back in the day and ended up with 3 or 4 replacements over the course of their lifetime/before warranty expired. They never ask for me to send anything back to them, they always ship out replacements without asking anything in return.

I also had an issue with the unifying receiver when I bought my refurb MX510 a couple of years ago. They sent me a brand new mouse and receiver even though the receiver was the only faulty part so I ended up with having a backup MX510 in case the mouse clicks go bad, which they have not so far and I am extremely pleased (and a little bit surprised) by that.

So, if you ask me Logitech products have gotten better while their customer service and support is still top notch.

I really want a racing wheel, but most of them are too damn small. Is that one larger than Ultra-Small?

How well does it track on couch surface? Fabric not leather.

I am in the extremely fortunate position of renting, where my immediate neighbor is gone most of the week on business. Which helps since I built a 48" Sonosub

I have not found a surface that my anywhere mouse won't work on. It works on glass, carpet, my leg, my other hand, my shirt, the window (I guess that's glass again, but there's a bigger light change through the window than on my glass desk)...it even works on a mirror. I cannot stress enough how much I love it for a portable, highly functional mouse.

I wish the G400 would go on sale.

That would mean people would buy that, when they're already buying it in droves off-sale because the rest of the mouses (IE: everything else they listed besides the anywhere mx) are trash for the extra features. If they had a sale on the G400/the good ones from the G series, they wouldn't sell much of any other mouse on sale.

That being said, I was going to buy the G700 but it looks way too cheap and plasticy/gimmicky. I'll wait I guess :(

Me too -- I have one of the older Saitek units but I wanted a G13 so I bought one and a set of the G430 headphones as a Christmas gift for someone. Thanks OP!

For those wanting the G400, just keep watching as Amazon has them on sale often. They had a huge Logitech sale in March and I bought one for $22 just to have when my MX518 finally croaks.

Best gaming mouse, I've ever used. Highly recommended. For the person talking about losing profiles. Unless, you're using it with multiple computers, you can have the profiles load from the pc to the mouse if you don't want to use the one's on the mouse.

Interesting, obviously I've had a very different experience with both of my MX518's, since neither has ever given me any issues and they have been used a lot over the years.
In fact every time I decide to "retire" them and use something newer, I always end up right back using them when the supposedly newer/better mouse starts having click issues or whatever.

When i researched the Logitech G400 recently, it seemed I came across a lot of users mentioning double click issues.
Neither of my MX518's have ever had any double click issues.
I believe Ive read the G400s uses better switches (20m) than the original G400 (10m) and I don't see many complaints of the G400s having click issues.
(but that could also be because they haven't been available for long enough yet)

You're doing a darn good job selling me on Logitech's customer service though.

I have a Logitech G19 keyboard that has been excellent, and own a Logitech couch mouse and m505 on my laptop, so I don't personally have anything against Logitech products in general.

I just want a good basic gaming mouse with on the fly dpi switching that will last.

I've definitely got my eye on the G400s.

Good, someone who actually owns one.
How is wireless for gaming/lag vs wired?
ie: would a "normal" gamer even notice the difference?
I'm curious because Every opinion you read when someone asks about wireless gaming mice is that its best to go wired.

And can you give a real world idea on battery life between charges?

And that's good to know about the profiles since I always have the Logitech gaming software running due to my G19 anyway.

Wouldn't mind one of those G700's, always wanted one, but never had the opportunity to buy one. They always seem to go on sale when I have to spend money on other people too (birthdays, holidays, etc).

Ooh the touchpad thing for Win 8.1 - anyone ever use it simultaneously with a wired mouse? It's the Logitech Rechargeable Touchpad T650.

I've been intrigued by the idea of using a touchpad on my gaming desktop, I don't know why. Can someone mention if they have added this to their gaming rig, and if it works well with switching between it and the gaming mouse?

I'm thinking of using the touchpad with the left hand, and the wired gaming mouse with right hand (I'm ambidextrous and have used left and right handed mice in the past).
