Doesn't the coupon work only for $75 and higher? My Gold Box price for the item is $68. I have 55 minutes left . . .

Try it. It should, because the item price shows up in your cart as $79.99 with a $12 discount added at checkout. If it doesn't work, you can at least use one of the 5 off 35 coupons from FW. That's what I did, as I had already used the 10 off 75 coupons on each of my accounts.

The problem is the rebate must be postmarked within 10 days of PURCHASED DATE. Super Saver shipping can take longer (in many of my cases).

Order status show that it won't be delivered until feb.10, which is too late for the rebate to work. I'll probably cancel the order. I got in on the Amazon Logitech free mouse deal, and am going to get burned. I don't think it will arrive by Jan.31's dead line for the rebate to apply (it's taken 2 weeks already). Strange thing is, the last 3 times I've attempted to use a "amazon" only rebate, the items take longer to arrive (about 1-2 weeks longer). Really strange stuff. O'well, it's probably just me

And to think I really needed a card for my axim. Urghh.

Would be awesome to get one at that price, even better to grab 5 at that price.

no soup for me. the hottest deals in my box were a $130 Diamond V770 and a $300 2ppm color inkjet printer.

Me too - grabbed the Viking 256 for $62 shipped with a $20 rebate so a total of $42 for 256 meg of fast memory (independently clocked @ 2.2MB/sec.)

The real bonus though is the fact that the rebate doesn't have to be sent until Feb. 15th! Much less risky than the SimpleTech deal IMO...

Keep checking those Gold Boxes!!!

Salon surprise Barbie rocks! That's the only explanation I have for it showing up in both of my accounts.

Other than that, everything in my gold box blows!

The rebate form says 15 days from purchase, not 10. I seriously doubt that even with free shipping it is going to take over two weeks to arrive. These cards are "in-stock" just about everywhere, so why would Amazon put something in their goldbox if it wasn't in stock? I bet this comes next week by the end of the week. To me, it was not worth spending $6 on shipping just to make sure it gets here soon enough. This bites into the $20 rebate too darn much. I'll gamble.

The times I have had a little slowness in the cheap shipping is with multiple items.

HELLO? Your looking at the wrong rebate form buddy - this post is about the simpletech deal. "Requests must be postmarked within 10days from the date of purchase. here is the link: http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B0000630TO.01.RB03.LZZZZZZZ.jpg

Man I have been looking for a 256mb card, but all my goldbox ever has is like pots and blenders and stuff (kinda ironic being that I only buy electronics from them...) Any how great deal for those that can get in on it!

have heard bad things about Viking rebates, so keep good copies of all documents.

Actually, I've receive about 3 viking rebates in past with no problems. I REALLY HATE IT when they scam me and "accidentally" mess up my address.
