wow thats a great deal if you ask me. though i have no qualms with buying nexxtech media either.

anyone know of the reliability of ridata rebates?
 
Careful. Ridata's quality has dropped BIG time of late. Just check out some reviews at newegg.com and you can see how bad it is. That and newegg blocks a lot fo the negative reviews so it is even worse then it looks.

I would wait at least until next year to see if Ridata can fix their issues they are having right now.
 
I just got the same deal finally shipped to me from Amazon.com last week. I did randomly open up the pancake stack of blanks of this stuff trying to find any "strange" or " discolored " dye changes from a random sampling of 5-7 blanks. I found out that they all looked great and the middle two DVD's burned just fine. These were the 8X DVD+R Ridata 100 pack stuff that I was visually scrutinizing and testing which I purchased for about $13 dollars after rebates.

I just discovered that quite a number of Ridata users have complained about poor quality lately. Can anyone else add comments--I am hoping to be proved wrong.
