Anyone know how this works? My original estimated ship date was Jan 20 - Jan 27. (This is for a Sony Ericsson T610 cell phone btw).
I had it set at two-day shipping but for some reason I just wanted to see how much it would cost to change it to one-day. Since my order had not been processed yet and was still in the "HAS NOT SHIPPED" state, I changed it to one day.
To my surprise, my ship date was now pushed back to Feb 10-Feb 24. I created a new order and brought it to the final screen before purchase and it had the estimated ship date at Feb 10-Feb 24 as well.
Does anyone know when you change the shipping method on an amazon.com order, does that remove you from your current place in line and stick you at the end? That doesnt seem to make much sense so I'm hoping it is just a bug in their estimated shipping date calculations...
(The item is OOS right now, which is why the date is pushed back so far)
