Amazon.com scam?

so i tried to sell my mp3 player on amazon.com. a guy in the states wants to buy it for his freind in africa and wants me to ship over there. he seems pretty legit in his emails and hes willing to pay through amazon checkout. since u need to pay through credit card with amazon and amazon acts as a thirdy party, do u think this is a legit deal or am i being scammed by another nigerian guy?

Tell him if he wants it shipped to his friend in Africa he would have to do it himself. Personally I wouldn't do it.

and the people in south africa are wondering how come a 2nd gen ipod sells for $499 and a new ipod video costs your first born child...
