Amazon.com new design?

It's exactly the same in Opera, but I get the new one in IE. I like the old one better. That categories window is bunk.
 
So they took out the one thing that made this terribly cluttered portal a little easier to navigate - the tabs - and that makes it hot? How? 😕
 
The tabs were worthless. They didn't show all the categories that I wanted no matter how many times I would browse them. I think they actually made the tabs more likely to show shops you DIDN'T visit.
