There was a post here a few months back by someone inquiring about Amazon.com having a new distribution facility in Canada. (Somewhere near Vancouver im guessing). This would of course eliminate the duty we would have to pay on items purchased through the website.

Someone said they were going to look into it.. Has this happend? Must we still pay duty on products ordered through Amazon.com?

As long as you stick with their default Canadian shipping option (which although it
doesn't say so, is Purolator) you will not be charged any duty. However, if you
choose express delivery, your order will come by DHL and you'll get a nice brockerage
invoice a week or so after your item arrives.
