Can someone explain to me why so many Amazon.com users INSIST on voting "no, this review was not helpful to me" SOLELY because the review is negative?! You could have the most informative, helpful review, recommending AGAINST the product, and people will still vote "no, not helpful." What is WRONG with people?
 
My question is.. who actually looks and/or clicks on "Was this review helpful?" in the first place? 😛

i've seen a lot of good negative reviews getting high useful ratings

it doesn't matter really. maybe somebody who likes the product is being childish about it. who cares.
 
Well if the user has a positive feeling towards the product and the review is negative, will the user tend to find the review helpful? Probably not.
