Amazon.com cell phone rebate people - what's the status?

I know most rebates are slow, but this one is RIDICULOUS. I bought a cell phone through amazon around new years day, and it came with a 150+100$ rebate. one is from tmobile, and the other is through a 3rd party rebate handler for amazon.com


Well, I sent out the rebate shortly, but it took forever for tmobile to acknowledge my rebate. The website says it was received Febuary 5th, processed March 27th, and the rebate will be sent out April 8th.

as for the amazon rebate (through Continental Promotion Group/rebatestatus.com), i check the site weekly and till now it still shows no rebate whatsoever for me. This is 150$. It is alot of money.




WHat have your experiences with the amazon deal been? When did you purchase your phone/when did you send it out/when did or will you receive your rebate?

Also, what can I do about this? on the website, they have a form to contact customer service, and NOTHING else to give out a piece of info. i think the form is a dead form, because i have never been contacted back. anything else I should do before I call their phone number (from domain WHOIS) and go ape-sh1t?
 
I would start by calling Amazon.com's toll free customer service number 1-800-201-7575, but don't go ape on them. They are people, too. My experience is that Amazon's CS reps are very helpful when they are able to help. At least they will point you in the right direction.
