Signed up for verzion and new phone recieved today and now i cant activate!!!!!!!!!

Have been on the phone with verizon for 2hours trying to find my order!!!

Theyt cant find the phone number that came with my phone!

This is bs.

Am i doing something wrong. Do i have to call Amazon first? I mean all it said was dial #228 thats it. Thats all verizon said i should need to do
 
Now the guy at verizon is askling for my order number! I gave him the number and he is telling me it should start with a "Z"!! I have 3 emails and the site that say Order Id # ###-######-##### and he is telling me thats not it
 
if you want amazon to suck you ..your going to need to pay extra for shipping and wait 3 to 7 days..by the way this item is not in stock....

Actually, it's *228, option 1. Not #. Try that first, it should be the over-the-air programming menu.
