Amazon App Bundle: 38 Android Apps for Free

I looked in this sub-forum and Hot Deals (mods, please move there if more appropriate) but didn't see this deal/topic, so here it is.

As I first saw on the SlickDeals website, Amazon is offering 38 different Android apps for free via their Amazon App Store. This is a different Amazon app than your Amazon Shopping app, by the way. I installed it from the Amazon website but I'm sure it's available in Google Play Store as well. You just browse to any of the 38 apps in their App Store and you can download it for free.

So far I haven't tried out any of the apps yet as I'm at work, but I downloaded AVG to check that one out first. And I just got an email from Amazon after ordering/downloading it that I have earned a $1 credit valid toward Amazon MP3 albums or singles. That's a decent bonus; I'll take it.

According to the SlickDeals website, the offer is valid through May 16th.

Eh, I don't use even 6 on a regular basis, but I still download anything that looks like it might ever be remotely useful and just leave it in the "cloud" on the off chance I might want it some day...
